LIFE JOURNEY

MOFFAT SIMPHIWE CALUZA, BORN 21 SEPTEMBER 1964 TO SHEILA AND

WASHINGTON CALUZA, PASSED AWAY ON THE IST OF JULY 2021 AFTER

COMPLICATIONS FROM THE INFECTIOUS CORONAVIRUS. 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL FONDLY REMEMER HIM AS TAMOF, JOEMAN, MALUME

AND PAPA. HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE AS A LEADER, BUSINESSMAN

AND PUBLIC SERVANT ARE GREATLY APRECIATED.

HIS FAMILY KNEW HIM AS A KIND AND WARM-HEARTED PSYCHOLOGIST,

MEDIATOR AND MASTER OF CEREMONIES WHO ALWAYS HAD THE RIGHT

JOKES AND THE RIGHT  WORDS TO COMPLIMENT ANY SITUATION. WHILE

AT PHEFENI SECONDARY SCHOOL, HE WAS PART OF THE TENNIS TEAM

AND REACHED CRITICAL ACCLAIM IN HIS ACADEMICS. 

HE THEN WENT ON TO WESTVILLE UNIVERSITY WHERE HE STUDIED PSYCHOLOGY. HIS

ALMA MATER, THE UNIVERSITYOF JOHANNESBURG HOUSED HIM AS HE

PURSUED HIS POSTGRAD IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT.

HE BEGAN HIS WORK LIFE IN SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS AROUND

JOHANNESBURG INCLUDING MORKELS FURNITURE. HE THEN MOVED TO

THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AS A DIRECTOR THEREAFTER A FLEET

MANAGER AT KUMAKA AND NPO.

HE THEN VENTURED INTO AHANANG HOUSING, A COMPANY WHICH HE

STARTED WITH HIS BUSINESS PARTNERS.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS PARTNER, HIS 6 CHILDREN [3 BOYS AND 3

GIRLSI HIS GRANDSON, SIBLINGS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO WILL

SORELY MISS HIM.
